Long-gestating Cure album due in October

Finally, Walter was asked to rejoin, replacing Karas on bass. This final lineup created Stackridge's only dead on target construct album, Mr. Mick, released in March 1976. Davis released a solo LP, Clevedon Pier in 1989, and has remained active in both performance (with the Andy Davis Band, which made an eponymic, limited edition CD in 1994, and a triad with Stuart Gordon (Korgis) and Peter Allerhand, named Los Caballeros) and production through 1998. DMX Misses Court Date In Arizona Drug Case

Amy Winehouse Released From Hospital

Amy Winehouse was today released from a London hospital afterward an overnight stay to treat what her spokesman said was an contrary reaction to medication.

Winehouse sparked sweet fears for her health this weekend (26-27Jul08) when she was snapped rank and tanning out at her bodyguard in the early hours of Sunday (27Jul08) dayspring before throwing herself on the floor.

Winehouse will not face drugs charges

LONDON (Reuters) - Troubled soul singer Amy Winehouse will not face charges in connection with video footage that seemed to show her taking drugs, a police source said on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old was arrested after handing herself in at an east London police station last week.

She had been questioned by detectives for nine hours in relation to a video published by a tabloid newspaper in January that appeared to show a woman resembling the singer smoking what it said was crack cocaine.

"Following a CPS investigation into a 24-year-old woman ... no further action will be taken," a police spokesman said.

A spokesman for the singer said in a statement: "Amy's bail date to return to Limehouse police station has been cancelled, bringing this matter to an end."

He added: "Amy is pleased to be able to move on and concentrate on music and particularly looks forward to seeing her fans again at eagerly awaited festival performances this summer."

It was the second time Winehouse had been detained by police during the past two months over separate issues.

Last month, she was held overnight in a cell but released without charge after admitting common assault by slapping a man.

The latest Sunday Times Rich List said Winehouse, whose battle against drug addiction has often overshadowed her recording success, is worth about 10 million pounds.
